Lauren Moore Dodge (’09) recently moved back to Houston with her husband Elliott and daughter Indy (2) after seven years in full-time ministry with Cru in Lebanon and Orlando, FL. Elliott has started a job as a curriculum developer for Code Ninjas and Lauren is staying home with Indy and their new baby boy, Moore “Mo” Elliott Dodge, who was born November 19, 2020.
Ashley Milstead (’14) graduated from Sam Houston State University with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She lives in Austin, TX, and is seeking employment to work with children and adolescents who are struggling with depression, anxiety and other difficult life situations. Ashley is engaged to be married to Colby Wilson in March 2021, and says, “We are so excited for this next step in our lives!” The couple met at Texas A&M University, and Colby proposed in Steamboat Springs, CO, in January 2020.

Julian Logan (’15) graduated in December 2020 from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is working in Dallas as a consultant for RSM US LLP.

Kaitlyn Buckley (’16) graduated from Sam Houston State University in December 2020 with a B.A. in Business Administration. She has accepted “an amazing offer” working as a recruiter in the engineering division of Addison Group in Houston, TX.
Justin Hicks (’16) graduated from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi with a B.A. in accounting. He has accepted a full-time position as a project coordinator for the Housing Authority of Corpus Christi. He will be applying to graduate schools to study data analytics.
In December 2020, Jordan Wandix (’16) graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.A. in criminal justice and a minor in Spanish. He is now working on earning his paramedic certification, and in May 2021, he plans to further his education and training at the Houston Fire Department Training Academy.
Maddie Echols (’17) graduated from Texas A&M University in December 2020 earning a degree in communications, a minor in sociology and an associate degree in foreign language. She says she is forever grateful for everyone who has supported her over the years. “I truly couldn’t have done it without y’all.”

Matthew Hawkins (’17) graduated from Sam Houston State University in December 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. Matthew plans to intern for the Chi Alpha CMIT (Campus Missionary-in-Training) program. It is useful for future overseas missionaries or for people who will get a non-ministry job in helping them learn skills to help disciple people to Christ.
