The 2023-2024 school year is Mrs. Nesbit’s 26th year as an educator and her second year at CCS as an educational therapist. She was a teacher and held leadership roles for 24 years in Katy ISD and CyFair ISD. She is incredibly honored that God led her to CCS. She knows that education is a ministry and loves doing God’s work at our amazing school!
Mrs. Nesbit has volunteered for animal shelters, rescues and animal welfare organizations for over 20 years. Being an advocate for children and animals is her passion.
She and her husband have a precious daughter who is in fourth grade this year. She is an active girl who enjoys soccer, dance and gymnastics. As a family, they love to be part of their church family, volunteer together, be outdoors in nature doing all sorts of activities and exercising and they all love to read.
They also adore their fur babies! Their 17-year-old Bella, who they adopted at 11 months old, passed this summer. They have two dogs now, Kody, who they adopted three summers ago, and Kallie who they adopted over the 2023 Christmas holidays.
