Monica Hinojosa

Elementary Resource Room Coordinator
OVERVIEW

Monica attended San Jacinto College and earned a degree in biology. She is part of the Huff Learning Center team as the Elementary Resource Room Coordinator. Her passion is working with students with a learning challenge and helping them grow in overcoming challenges. She has a strong belief that no student should be left behind. Every child has been created in God’s image and while some may have strong abilities, some need just a little extra help. “My biggest reward is seeing their smile and growth when overcoming an obstacle.”

The Lord has led Monica to this role today. His perfect plan was for her family to be part of CCS even before they were looking at schools. It is so wonderful to know that we have a loving Father who holds us in the palm of his hands, which leads her to her favorite scriptures Jeremiah 33:3 and Psalm 91.

Monica is married to her husband Beto. They have been married for 14 years and have two boys, Marco and Esteban. Esteban has attended CCS since kindergarten and is currently a seventh grader in the Class of 2029. Marco graduated from Texas A&M University in construction science. Marco is a great mentor to Esteban in guiding him with biblical truths and a loving heart. During her free time, Monica enjoys volunteering with Esteban in outreach with Graced Ministry, reading, hunting and traveling with her family. Monica and her family attend Houston Northwest Church.
