Home Academics Elementary School Elementary Summer Camps
We are excited to offer several summer camps for elementary students. Each session will be held at CCS and all supplies needed are included in the camp fee. All grade levels listed are the grade the student will enter in the 2024-2025 school year.
Wearable Art: Entering Grades 1 & 2, June 3-6, 8:30-10 a.m., Cost: $130
Students will be designing bucket hats, drawstring bags, capes and socks. Students will be working with different fabric mediums such as tie-dye and fabric markers. All projects will be taken home on the last day.
Mixed Media: Entering Grades 2 & 3, June 3-6, 10-11:30 a.m., Cost: $135
Students will be working with several types of mediums each day. Students will be painting bird houses, making flat sand art designs, and designing and filling a kaleidoscope. All projects will be taken home on the last day.
Cricut 101: Entering Grades 4-6, June 3-6, 12-1:30 p.m., Cost: $150
Students will learn the basics of the Cricut software. They will design, cut out and apply designs for a water bottle, beach towel and t-shirt. All projects will be taken home on the last day.

Science of Flight: Entering grades 3-6, June 3-6, 1:30-3 p.m., Cost $130
In this science camp, students will explore the science of flight as they design, build and collect data on gliders, parachutes and stomp rockets. Students will work in teams to test their designs as they release their modes of flight.
Science of Flight: Entering grades 3-6, June 17-20, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Cost $130
In this science camp, students will explore the science of flight as they design, build and collect data on gliders, parachutes and stomp rockets. Students will work in teams to test their designs as they release their modes of flight. Students will bring a heavy snack. We will have a quick “working” snack as we intro our exploration each day.
Robotics: Entering Grades 2 & 3, June 3-6, 12-1: 30 p.m., Cost: $100
Students will be building Lego robots and will learn how to code them to run a simple program. At the end of this camp, students will show their parents what they created and coded the robot to do. *Robots belong to CCS.
Coding: Entering Grades 3-6, June 3-6, 8:30-10 a.m., Cost: $100
Students will learn more about Scratch. They will create different games using coding. At the conclusion of the camp, they will be able to play their games at home using Scratch.
3D Printing: Entering Grades 4-6, June 3-6, 10-11:30 a.m. Cost: $130
Students will learn more about Tinkercad and other 3D programs. They will create fun projects that will be printed and take home at least two at the end of the camp.

Students will learn more about Scratch. They will create games using coding. Students will learn more about TinkerCad and other 3D programs. They will create fun projects that will be printed and take home at least one project at the conclusion of the camp.
Edible Science: Entering Grades 1 & 2, June 17-20, 2:30-4 p.m., Cost: $120
Students will make edible foods without using heat. Students will practice applying measurement skills, mixing ingredients and taste testing their creations.
Physical Changes & Reactions: Entering Grades 3 & 4, June 17-20, 12:30-2 p.m., Cost: $130
Students will explore physical changes and reactions involving food. Students will apply data collection, graphing skills and writing conclusions. Students will make predictions and compare data to outcomes.
Team Building: Entering Grades K-2, July 8-11, 1–3 p.m., Cost: $125
Students will enjoy a variety of team-building activities such as “moving day” parachute games and many other games that not only help with team-building skills but also help build core strength and flexibility. All equipment for this camp will be provided by CCS.
Fun and Games: Entering Grades 3-5, July 15-18, 1–3 p.m., Cost: $125
Students will be performing a pre-workout stretch routine followed by fun relay races to warm up their bodies. Students will perform a combination of dodgeball games, mat ball (a form of baseball), noodle hockey, capture the flag, etc. All equipment for this camp will be provided by CCS.
