Alumni Coaches
Father/Daughter Alumni Coaches Lead Warriors to Basketball Titles
This year’s varsity basketball season was an exciting and rewarding one! Many of our readers may remember CyChristian’s longtime assistant basketball coach, Rory Coleman, alumni parent to Daija Coleman (‘15). This year, he was asked to step up to the head coaching position of the varsity boys basketball team and what a great season it was! The team earned the title of Area Champion.
And, while Coach Rory was busy coaching the boys, his daughter Daija (‘15) was assisting Coach Marsha Martin in helping the Lady Warriors varsity team earn the Bi-district Champion title.
Thanks, Coach Coleman and Coach Coleman, for an amazing season!
Way to go, Warriors! #OnceAWarriorAlwaysAWarrior

Kristin Elizabeth Francis (’08) went home to be with Jesus on March 16, 2021. Since 2009, Kristin has lived at home recovering from an arterial venous malformation bleed and brain surgery. She worked hard at rehabilitation with much joy and grace. She was an encouragement to all she met with her winsome smile and friendly demeanor. Her motto was “Francises never quit.” Her favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” She will be greatly missed. Thank you for praying for her family and friends.
