These assessments given in grades 1-8 help drive targeted instruction, identify strengths and recognize areas for improvement. The ERB assessment is used by top schools across the nation and provides industry-leading information to unlock each child’s greatest potential. CCS administers this assessment each spring semester.
In ninth grade, students take the PSAT9 to become familiar with the test structure and provide a baseline for future testing. In 10th grade, students take the PSAT/NMSQT as a practice run for the following year. In 11th grade, students take the PSAT/NMSQT for consideration for the National Merit Scholarship Program. All of these assessments help students prepare for the SAT, which will be used in the college admission process.
The ACT and SAT are both offered to juniors and seniors on campus each fall and spring. Students can register to take the test in a familiar environment, with only their classmates, administered by CCS faculty.
The campus will reopen on Monday, July 15.
Power has been restored, and the campus will reopen on Monday, July 15, with regular summer hours and activities.
